Mary received a Masters in Counseling Psychology and Education/Community Agency specialty from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. She was a teaching and research assistant in the Department of Counseling Psychology and taught skills courses to Masters’ students and parent education courses. She has worked with clients in residential, educational, and outpatient settings in the areas of substance abuse/dependence, parent education, marital and family counseling, mood and behavioral disorders, and domestic abuse. Mary also developed and taught courses in parenting after divorce.
Mary currently works with adults and adolescents in the areas of individual, marital and family counseling, anxiety, depression, life events adjustment, stress management/hardiness, grief, and personal coaching.
